Wish we could get Marty and Doc to fire up the DeLorean and send donOld, MAGA republicans, Elon Musk, etc, etc, back to the 1800’s since they seem to like that time period so much!

Love your puppy 🐶 💙

Patty, what a great idea! Thanks!

I couldnt agree more...where ARE the fact checkers? Sleezy ads do nothing but denigrate our efforts in government and divide us even further. But I must say, any videos of that precious puppy lower my blood pressure! Thank you!! 💙💙💙

They are indeed at the bank. We need a new Truth and Fairness Doctrine that would provide for the vetting of all ads bed or they reach the broadcast source. This is out of control.

This is my biggest concern, Diane. Several of my nieces/nephews repeat completely opposing talking points, not even realizing their own inconsistencies. That's intentional by the right, keep blurring the lines so that nothing makes sense. We need a built-in veracity engine (which we're working on!)

"No wonder our children don’t understand the difference between truth and fiction if their parents cannot detect manure. I have noticed most maga ads are about gender equality and saving your children from immigrants and criminals from South America like every viewer lives in the border. Whipping up fear with lies is the old Republican “smear and jeer” method that goes back decades. Trump and his minions have magnified it. Tragic."

Lorraine, I think perhaps the person who is lying should have his face covered in ads with a warning ⛔️ in the screen and a buzzer.

Diane K24 and Lorraine Evanoff: FRIENDS!

The BEST part were the videos of Winnie!

Adorable!

The second best was on the manure.

Precious!

Look, we have what, 20 days only till election. This has been a roller coaster.

But we friends are with each other and, as Joyce Vance reminds us, "We are in this together!"

We are together going to continue, with the late, well-loved John Lewis, to make Good Trouble.

A lot of work with Jim Crow in Texas, Alabama and Florida.

A long time ahead for "good trouble."

Yes, Armand! We are birds of a feather fighting until we cannot!

Yes, it's disheartening to see political ads that are filled with outright lies. It happens here in Canada too with our MAGA funded Conservative political party and for the same reason. TV stations are businesses, generally with very conservative owners who simply want to make money. They will pursue political party dollars as aggressively as bogus "clinically tested" hair growth supplements. The money is the same colour.

Yes. And we have massive pharmaceutical ads for drugs that no one has ever heard of —big money.

Diane,

Your post makes me want to weep.

When I was a child, my parents taught me that there were consequences for telling lies. In the America that Trump has built, all the children in America have been taught that there are no consequences to lying except perhaps you can become President of the United States or a billionaire like Elon Musk.

Thank you for Winnie Zen!

David, thanks. I’m glad there are readers like you who are sane but sad about the state of deception under TrumpCult. It’s all a trickle down lie machine.

Even the GOP yard signs are parroting Trump lies. There is a new theme showing up around here: two sections -- top says Trump followed by a lie and the bottom says Kamala followed by another lie. Example from down the street from me is "Trump Low Prices. Kamala High Prices". There are 5 or six others.

I wonder how many are paid to put yard signs out for T-Rex?🦖

Don, I've seen those. In the yards of some fancy rich houses, too. It makes me sick.
