An upbeat way to start the day.

Very misleading! Who is still standing? What does the song have to do with the Vice Presidential race?

You and I are still standing to volunteer! 💙🇺🇸💙Vote for Kamala and whoever is selected for her VP. I trust her judgment, and she will still be standing after Trump slinks back to his whatever.

I don't volunteer. I vote. I retired from volunteering;been there and done that.

It’s about using the rhythm to motivate volunteers to knock on doors!

Diane K24: Elton John, "I'm still standing!", hits some powerful, very "Blue Notes"!

I played it about five to ten times, and Nancy (❤️❤️ -- 51-years married, 53- together) wondered, "What the . . . what is my husband dancing like a damn fool in MY livingroom?! And yelling, "I'm still standing."

That video will be a bug in my ear all day and a vision in my mind's eye!

That IS the SPIRIT for Kamala Harris, the Future President of the United States of America and the principal LEADER of a UNITED NATO in the cause of Western Democracy.

I honestly became a late Elton John fan when I put a couple on my playlist for daily walks. I walk happier with some of his songs. The same with Rod Stewart—I didn’t know him until I needed some rhythm and love songs.

Diane K24: Mixed feelings about Rod Stewart. I like his gravelly voice.

But "Maggie" is HILARIOUS in spots -- "and Mother what a lover you wore me out!"

Other than Robert Plant, "Every inch of my love," that is one of the funniest lines in Rock 'n Roll.

So, I absolutely love some of Rod Stewart.

But some of it is downright creepy -- him in video roles as Voyeur.

But, to be fair to him, maybe those were satiric songs and he was intentionally disgusting us with his mockery of the voyeur. I don't know, those videos creeped me out.

But, other than that, Rod Stewart is fine.

Maggie May is by far his best song, out of many other good ones.
