Such wisdom and reciprocal love. Also, I hope you know that you did what you could (re the bank account).

"My momma said, “Education is the way out of poverty.” I know how hard it is for one-parent families to rise above poverty. We did not get rich, but we had enough. Love was never lacking. My teacher salary later helped her, and I only wish I had deposited more money in her bank account than I did."

Thanks, Lorraine. Remember the Beatles’ “Love is everything you need”? Sometimes it really is💖

Diane K24: Whew, what a b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l, awe-inspiring, breathtaking post.

The passions in study, from political philosophy through British Romantic Poetry: I thought as much from your history of writings.

No wonder I love reading each of your writings!

And what a beautiful story about your mom and the beautiful photo!

And how strong your mom and you were to recover -- especially from 8-years-old -- from such a tragic result of despair with your dad.

I remain so sorry for your loss, even if long ago, because that loss leaves its poignant mark in the soul.

It is a tribute to your strength and your Mom's wisdom that you have done so well and have developed such a wonderful inner life!

An internal volcanic eruption of love expressed from a mother’s (Earth) heart and soul to touch the clouds. Rain down positive and negative forces that mold life. The world is connected whether we recognize this or not.
