Excellent list, Diane! My church is listed on a Libertarian site of “woke” churches and gives all kinds of info. I admit to being nervous about being targeted when the list first came out.

I certainly would be too. One of the members of my church had planned to go to the Jan6 pavilion to thank Trump for his service—but, get this—she backed out because she got word about BLM & antifa would cause trouble and Trump was going to have martial law. Seriously. I have avoided her and her family since then. Apparently the right-wing grapevine was hot before Jan6.

Diane K24: Good sources, for which alone, it is worthy to restack THIS posting, as I do with so many of yours.

This warmed my heart today, Diane! Such good recommendations. I've never been one to hurry Summer along, but I sure can't wait until November to be over. Not sure how this gay couple and their trans son would fare should a MAGA win. Canada is looking good. We've got to keep working to keep our beloved democracy. <3

Thanks, Susan! Please know I thought my piece was too long —or I would have included you with Jessica Craven! I actually thought about adding you and 2 others. Next time💙🇺🇸💙

No worries, Diane. We are on hiatus as I deal with this long-COVID/fibromyalgia diagnosis. I made it to the end of your piece. They are long when they need to be. <3

I am a "blue star" in the red state of Indiana. And we have an election denier, former Senator Mike Braun, running for Governor, who will most likely win. Plus election denier Rep. Jim Banks running to fill Braun's seat in the Senate. I'm in the NW corner of Indiana which has been one of the few remaining Democratic strongholds in the state. But more & more I see Trump signs, flags, & support in this area. I'm highly concerned over our Democratic Representative's seat as he has a very viable opponent this year who is from a longstanding Rep. family in a MAGA portion of our south counties. At age 77 I'm afraid of living out the rest of my life in a country I don't recognize!

I’m so sorry to hear that, Diane. It is the same in too many places. I had 2 relatives and a friend to die this year, and I know it sounds awful —but I’m glad they’re not having the stress from trumplicanz. I hope they’re happy up there cheering on Biden!

I've lived here all my life and am very fortunate to have beautiful Lake Michigan and the Indiana Dunes as a respite for the MAGA craziness that's happening! Thank you for your kind words. Keep inspiring and fighting for our democracy!! 💙

Thank you for sharing your story, Diane. The Lake area is beautiful for serenity. Just remember there are a lot more people out there like us just waiting to vote out election deniers!

I am fortunate that my husband & I live in a Blue State but even so, there are plenty of Republicans around. I was threatened on the road last year by one of these maniacs who upon seeing my bumper stickers, Wage Peace & NM Wilderness alliance, I guess. My husband is a 100% combat wounded, disabled vet so the license plates on our vehicles reflect that as well. I don't know exactly what upset him so much, he kept crowding my bumper, honking, yelling obscenities & flipping me off...I didn't cut him off as he was behind me so the only thing I could think of that crazed him were the bumper stickers and license plate. Luckily it was broad daylight & there were plenty of vehicles around so he didn't do anything else.

How awful and unexplainable! I’m very conscious of bumper stickers on vehicles. If I see confederate flags or trump decals, I take a mental note on my neighborhood walks to avoid contact like poison ivy😂

Me too Diane, next door construction workers have the flags attached to their work trucks. I go the opposite direction because I can. I want nada to do with them.
