The last 2 days without my dog have been awful. Thank you for your comments which consoled me. It’s still too hard to share the story. However, a family of deer diverted me from thinking for a bit.
Thinking of you Diane and sending hugs, dear friend! I know it hurts… will hurt. You gave your Paddy a wonderful life and love… I hope the memories come flowing back …even through your tears. They will make you smile too, help the pain a bit. Take care of yourself. Great photos of the deer…what a gift to see them and know they’re there to help. 🫶🙁🥰Much love, my friend.
Thanks, Joan💕We are feeling pretty lonely, but we are looking for a puppy even if we’re too old to get one. It’s hard not have a fur baby. We can’t find any bearded collies to rescue, but we are looking at other breeds. A lady with Cavapoos offered us one from a future litter. They’re cute but so small! We want a huggable guy! Looking at shelter rescues but they all appear to be huge dogs!
Joe I Love but he knows we must beat Trump and he & Kamala will remain partners in running the country. He has so much wisdom, and he picked her to the dismay of whites.
It looks like you have Bambi in your backyard. I had a stuffed Bambi as a child. It was very much loved. I hope your ivory soap is working to protect your garden area. I’ll trade you dragon-looking iguanas for the deer.
My heart hurts with yours for the loss of your Paddy. Hold on to all the wonderful times through your tears. The loss never goes away but we learn to manage the loss and hold them in our heart until we see them again. Let your tears flow now in sorrow but sooner than we think, those tears will be full of joy as you are reunited w/Paddy and all ur fur babies that have crossed The Rainbow Bridge. I truly believe that. I also have watched ur stewardship of ur deer and wanted to let you know that if a fawn has sporadic spots it’s a female and if the spots line up it’s a male. I hope the deer help mend your heartbreak.
You may remember, I have a mother and spotted fawn getting his legs in my overgrown backyard intentionally fending off the gardener who will not be paid to cut anything while they & the herd are munching Lariope in the front yard. That are awesome to watch and soothing. I just adore the baby who runs like crazy showing off his new skills! Hugs!
Be kind to yourself. Give yourself a hug or put your hand over your heart and breath into the emotions you are feeling. It’s okay to be sad for a pet that meant so much to you 😌 One day at a time. I am glad you are finding something to smile about, like those cool deers in your yard 😍

Diane…I’m in tears! But now we win it FOR Joe! Speaks even more about his character to put democracy first! 💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸

I know…still hurts though… such a great man! I didn’t comment on your search for a new fur baby… keep looking, the right one is waiting for you! 🫶🥰🐾🐶🐕
Nature is trying to respond to your pain🙏🏻❤️

Hugs back, Judith! The deer I think are enthralling. They each have personalities!
